Capone & Keefe is a New Jersey bankruptcy attorney’s office where the lawyers are involved with their clients from beginning to end. You as the client will not be passed off to secretaries or paralegals like you would at many other bankruptcy law firms. The attorneys will meet with you, will return your phone calls and answer your questions. Capone and Keefe believe that only by truly listening to a client’s concerns, problems or fears can an effective solution to the problem be arrived at.
We strive to be a hands on law firm. Through that hands on philosophy, combined with our experience, we will instill the confidence in you that we will be able to guide you through your legal or financial difficulties.
The lawyers at our law firm have been handling complex Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases for more than 19 years. The legal experience of our lawyers can be invaluable in helping you navigate the tough economic landscape that we are all experiencing. Most importantly, that experience can help you determine if a bankruptcy is the right option for you and if so, then whether a Chapter 7, Chapter 11 or Chapter 13 is the proper and most beneficial form of bankruptcy for your specific needs.
The attorney’s at Capone & Keefe have also been at the forefront of helping our bankruptcy and non-bankruptcy clients alike in obtaining a loan modification of their present mortgages under the government’s HAMP program. Many of our clients have already attempted to obtain a HAMP loan modification on their own and failed. Our lawyers are familiar with the eligibility requirements and the internal calculations performed by the mortgage servicers in determining your eligibility for a HAMP loan modification. We can put that knowledge to use in helping you determine if a HAMP loan modification is an option for you, and if it is, we will help you put the proper information together so that your HAMP application will be reviewed in the best light.
